Phone support
You are not alone. If you're a women or girl in crisis, 4 Voices is here to help.
If you are experiencing domestic violence or homelessness, are in need of connection to crisis services, or just want someone to talk to, we can help.
Join our phone suport service to receive regular phone calls and connection for as long as you need.
Here's how it works:
A regular friendly call. You'll speak with the same trained volunteer at a regular time that works for you.
Safe and simple. No internet, apps or official appointments. Just a phone call.
Connection, not crisis. We listen without judgement, offering care and consistency. We'll journey alongside you for as long as you need.
Pathways when you're ready. We can guide you to 4 Voices face-to-face services in your community or other support services.
Our phone support service is a check-in service for a regular call with our trained volunteers. Our volunteers are not counsellors.
If you need urgent help please call 000 or 13 11 14 (Lifeline).
Request phone support
Submit the form if you'd like help from our phone support service.
We'll call you to understand more about you and your situation, and how we can help. This will usually happen within a week.
For this first call, we may call you any time between 9am and 7pm (Australian Eastern Standard Time), Monday to Friday. If there is a day or time that does not suit you or is not safe for you to receive a call, tell us on the form. We will make sure we call outside this time. We will send you a text message 5 minutes before we call.
After we've spoken to you, we'll match you with a volunteer who will call you at a regular time that suits you. This may take a few days or a few weeks, depending on when our volunteers are available.
We don't accept third-party referrals. This means someone else (like a doctor, social worker or support service) can't submit the form for you. But it's OK if someone helps you fill it out.
